Looking for something worthwhile

The name is Katie and I'm an extremely ambitious, driven, light-hearted woman who is very goal-oriented. I know exactly what I want out of life and what I need to accomplish to achieve that. Medicine and healthcare is a passion of mine. I recieved my Paramedic cert in June '09 and am currently in Nursing School in hopes of getting on a critical care flight service within the next 5 years. I love life and what all it can offer. I smile alot, and laugh even more... I'm also very sarcastic and enjoy banter. So if you can't take a joke, I'd reconsider contacting me Most people would consider me a free-spirited hippy beachbum. I seem to get that alot... I guess there is some truth to that considering I live in flip flops and thoroughly enjoy all types of beach and reggae music. I'm very positive and find something in common with everyone I meet. I'm very open-minded and believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. That in which usually kicks me in the @ss but I am still learning every minute of every day...with no regrets. I'm a sushi/wine/incubus kinda girl. I am NOT religious whatsoever. I dont go to church or read the bible for leisure. I have my own thoughts, theories, morals, and values that I claim as my own "religion." Being in the south, its very challenging finding someone who shares your same views but I never close the door in your face if we dont agree. Respect is a very important and necessary virtue. I... -camp... a lot. -watch and attend local and national auto shows and races. Drag and rally racing are favorites of mine. -listen to music whenever I can. -run. -travel and vacation frequently with my family and friends. -take random beach trips. -love going to coffee shops, concerts, art galleries. I'm also a total nerd and love going to bookstores, drink coffee and just read.
