Working towards a career in healthcare

I am an Army veteran and relocated to Louisville, Kentucky in 2008. I'm currently enrolled in the Pharmacy Technology program at Sullivan University. My dream is to attend Pharmacy School or Medical School. Completing the Pharmacy Technology program is the first step in that process because it will allow me to gain experience and exposure to the healthcare field. Besides school, I work as a security officer full-time. I believe firmly in God, but try not to be too judgemental. The way I see it, none of us are perfect and we've all made mistakes in the past. The important thing is to learn from our mistakes and continue our self-development in all the important areas (emotional, spiritual, physical, social, and mental). I like attending church and being involved in charity work. I think actions speak louder than words when it comes to representing one's faith. I believe in staying healthy. So, I take frequent walks and hope to eventually get back into running again (recuperating from a running injury). I exercise two to three times a week at home using weights or body resistance exercies (push-ups, sit-ups, etc.). I collect watches and self-improvement books. I like to travel as time and money permit. I enjoy learning, whether in a formal classroom or through seminars. I keep a personal journal and enjoy reading biographies and self-improvement books & magazines. I like country, rock, pop rock, top 40, Easy Listening, classical music, some blues, and even some folk type music (hint: Oh Brother Where Art Thou). I dislike rap music. My movie tastes are as varied as my musical tastes. I'll watch almost anything as long as it holds my interests. Probably my favorite movies are dramas, adventures, and sci-fi. I hope to meet others for dating and to see how things develop. I am open to a possible relationship with the right woman. I am hoping to find someone who encourages my dreams and goals (pharmacy or medical school, traveling, learning, etc.).
